I actually began the month with a birthday bash for my best friend, as well as my last time seeing her before she went to Baguio for college (I should really be a Baguio kid though, but UST happened), the day after, our class was given two quizzes. And that was my first quiz ever in college, and I failed it both. =))))
Other things that happened this month were the following:
Research works, and a huge pile of requirements.
Recollection - more than happy to be a part of the Thomasian family because of this! <3
Recruitment fair - college-wide and university-wide (yes, this one’s fun!)
Buying myself a new headphones (out from my own savings!) - and I just ticked off another to-do this year!
Class Picture! I was really expecting that we’d have our photo in front of the Arch though, but this one’s good enough already.
Visiting the University Botanical Garden for our Biology class, yay!
And reviewing, endless reviewing because of coordinated quizzes, and our Preliminary Exams coming up too! Time flies really fast, huh.
But the climax is, MY FIRST YELLOW DAY! (info: Thomasians have to wear yellow shirt on a given date to show support to UST Growling Tigers in UAAP!)
So, it’s September few days from now! -Ber months. So, we only have a few months to go, and 2014 will say goodbye (aww.) Speaking of yearly goals, I will once again update you guys with my Project 2014 real soooon! Watch for it!
Hoping that your life lately is doing well! Good luck! x
I did this one for our College Student Council. Yes I did apply as an Associate for the Creative Media Committee. I’m just giving it a try though, haha! By the way, this output is a combination of watercolor (hand) lettering and all the Photoshop. I hope you guys like it! :)
artcountancy (n.) - art and accountancy; a folio of the artworks done by a BS Accountancy student.
From being that girl with a slightly thin voice in high school, I have emerged as a college student - aiming to make my childhood dreams a reality in five years, leaving school as a mature person. (high hopes, haha!)
Moving on, here’s my month, lately:
Officially a part of the pontifical and royal Thomasian family! (yay!) I’m happy to say, that I didn’t have any regrets choosing UST over UP. And, the Thomasian Welcome Walk was definitely a blast! Likewise, I’m very happy to be a part of the AMVian family! I really appreciate the warm welcome of everyone, especially my seniors, to us, future Thomasian Accountants! I’m really hoping that I will be one of the fittest, because BS Accountancy is not your ordinary college program. Comparable to The Hunger Games, maybe? Well, let’s see.
Since I’m in college, I’m already a part of the waterproof club! And I’ve got numerous experiences with that already! Up to the point classes were suspended because of a typhoon, which led us to having no electricity for three straight days. My goodness. But in order to kill time during suspensions, and free cuts (in classes), I do hand lettering, and I’m really happy with the response of my new friends! Lastly, I also tried doing wall revamps in my room, and tried putting my dream catchers onto my wall. It was cute, but I removed it afterward for certain reasons. I guess my corkboard and my calendar would only be the friends of my wall. (whaaaat, hahaha!) Hoping for another productive month in school this coming August! And, good luck to all the upcoming UP freshies, as well as the UPCAT takers! I wish you all the best! x
My final month of summer consists of 95% pure boredom and 5% finally I will be doing something worthwhile!
I had my final dip in the pool to culminate the very long and tiring vacation (it’s too tiring to be at home and you got nothing to do lol) slash celebrating my high school friend’s birthday, having new cooking achievements (yay!), and learning the fundamentals of watercolor (haha!), and of course watching several variety shows and movies to waste time, literally beacuse there’s really nothing to do (you guys should watch Miracle in Cell no.7, it’s a very good movie!) High hopes for the upcoming classes this July! Finally, hello college life! :)
