My final month of summer consists of 95% pure boredom and 5% finally I will be doing something worthwhile!

I had my final dip in the pool to culminate the very long and tiring vacation (it’s too tiring to be at home and you got nothing to do lol) slash celebrating my high school friend’s birthday, having new cooking achievements (yay!), and learning the fundamentals of watercolor (haha!), and of course watching several variety shows and movies to waste time, literally beacuse there’s really nothing to do (you guys should watch Miracle in Cell no.7, it’s a very good movie!) High hopes for the upcoming classes this July! Finally, hello college life! :)

Japan 2014 - The Final Record

This was the main highlight of our trip, going to this very famous park in Japan, Tokyo Disneyland, and I swear, every moment I’ve spent there was so the most meaningful thing in my teenage life. And yes, save the best for the last.

image

It’s quite a long time since I’ve went to Disneyland (Hong Kong, 2005), and from what I remember, HK Disneyland has just opened that time, so I felt so great visiting another Disneyland after 9 long years!

featuring my very fulfilled face (lol)

I had lots of opportunity to have a photo or have a close encounter with several Disney characters and this was the highlight!

image

Can’t I say that I was so lucky to be the last person to have a close encounter with the Minnie Mouse before the parade starts. I had a selfie with her (which is counted as a single photo already), but my brother managed to take a photo of me being escorted by my favorite Disney character (happiness level: 99999999999999)!!!

One of the highlights in every Disneyland, parades! (Currently, Tokyo Disneyland’s theme for this season is Easter.)

We also watched other shows in Disneyland such as:

One Man’s Dream IIimage

Stitch’s Aloha e Komo Maiimage

we’re not allowed to take a photo inside so… :)))

The ever awesome show which never fails me, as always since HK Disneyland. My favorite, Mickey’s Philhar Magic!

We also watched the Country Bear Show in Westernland, but I wasn’t able to take any photo, sorry.

And now, for the rides. I’ll only share my two favorite rides we rode here in Disneyland. First is, Splash Mountain! image

imageThis ride is cool in the inside, as well as the outside. (better experience it yourself, haha!) Plus, getting wet is fun, too! :))

And my favorite, and successfully passing my no handhold challenge, Big Thunder Mountain!image

We weren’t able to ride Space Mountain, which my friend (who is now residing in Japan) said was the best ride in Disneyland. (So, there’s a reason for me to come back to Japan, lol.)

And, nothing beats seeing Cinderella’s Castle during the day and the night. <3

Concluding our Disney trip is the evening parade of the Disney Characters, namely Dream Lights, and it was such a beauty!image

There was also a fireworks display few minutes after the parade, and we have completely witnessed it while we’re on the train. (lol)

So that concludes my whole Japan travelogue. I really hope that we can travel again soon, or better go back to Japan! :D

Japan 2014 - The Fourth Record

We have gone to two flower parks on the last day of the Golden Week Celebration in Japan, namely Ota Shibasakura Koen and Ashikaga Flower Park. It was such a cool experience seeing these flowers bloom so well and you really can’t take you eyes off those especially when you’re in my place, seeing those flowers in person (it’s beyond beautiful). Here’s just some of the flowers we saw in the flower parks:

May, I dare to say, is the most amazing month of my 2014! This was the month I turned many dreams into reality, such as the whole Japan experience, as well as surviving a day wearing sneaker wedges (but my feet really hurts bad that time, ugh), as well as creating my own pizza, show marathons, preparing myself for college, becoming a pharmacist for a day, rough brush pen lettering, and some dance workout sessions made this month such a very awesome one! Another month to go and I’m now welcoming myself to a new environment better known as college, how time really flies so fast.

Hoping that your summer is great as well! The best of luck to the people having their classes this June! :)

Japan 2014: The Third Record

Of roadtrips and countryside

We had an awesome experience going through the mountain on our third day in Japan! From the cold weather (smoke coming out from our mouth during noon), awesome food, as well as the place itself, and close encounter with animals (finally got a chance to meet a llama hahaha) definitely made my day. Likewise, I got to try Japanese crepes which are super yummy! Going out of country has never been this great!
